Bellissima comes from one of our best milking lines, going back to her great granddam SG Imnaha King’s Silver Belle 2*M, who milked over 3,000# milk in her first two lactations and nearly that again on her last lactation with only half an udder. Bellissima had trouble with mastitis her first lactation, so we elected to dry her off and let her mature after her first kidding. She is currently working on her second lactation and has a lovely, well-attached udder. We have retained her 2026 daughter, Imnaha TAC Bellatrix, and plan to repeat that mating to +*B Wingwood Farm Dill Tacitus again this fall.
